Pool care
The use of chemicals in water treatment cannot be prevented, but it can be significantly reduced by proper pool cleaning and the combination of water care products.

Worth knowing
When it comes to water care, the health and hygiene of people and water is the overriding principle. Proper pool maintenance must begin before the pool is filled. The importance of proper pool maintenance is evident both visually and in detail. The use of chemical water treatment agents is necessary for the smallest dirt and pathogens, which are not visible to the eye, but contribute significantly to the cleanliness and clarity of the pool water. Pool maintenance is a necessary supplement and continuation of the pool technology services.
Small excursion on pool technology
In order to keep the cleanliness and clarity of the pool water stable and to minimise the addition of chemicals as far as possible, the pool water should generally be circulated at least twice a day. Coarse soiling can be removed with a skimmer, the surface vacuum cleaner, or a conventional landing net. Professional filter systems, namely sand filter systems or cartridge filters, filter finer impurities from the pool water. Please note that the capacity of the filter system should be appropriate to the size of the pool and the water content associated with it, to allow maximum filtration of the pool water
For more detailed information on the different types of filters (sand filter system and cartridge filter) and their mode of operation, please read on at Pool technique.
The right water care
Chemical pool care ensures the regulation of the correct pH value, clear and disinfected bath water as well as the removal of the finest dirt, which cannot be filtered by the filter system due to its small size. It should be used immediately, i.e. before and after the initial or new filling of the pool. Once the water has become cloudy and contaminated, which usually happens within a few days without proper water care, the cleaning effort and the use of chemical agents is significantly higher.
The necessity of using chemical pool maintenance is clearly demonstrated by the fact that the pool is unfortunately also a catchment area for micro-organisms and pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, which feel extremely comfortable at higher temperatures. The hotter it is, the faster the micro-organisms multiply.
Constant high or changing temperatures and the use of the pool by several people inevitably lead to contamination of the water, resulting in a change in the pH-value, clouding of the water and deposits on the walls and floor.
Basic Cleaning
At least once a year, the pool should be thoroughly cleaned. This is best done after the winter, before the pool water is refilled.
At the beginning or shortly before the bathing season, it is recommended to drain the pool water completely to thoroughly clean the side walls and the bottom of the pool using special acidic pool cleaners and to remove lime deposits and other heavy dirt such as soot and grease. It is advisable to leave the pool cleaner to take effect to remove stubborn dirt more easily. It is also advisable to treat the pool with algicides, special anti-algae agents that prevent the growth of algae.
ATTENTION!
Do not use conventional household cleaners for pool cleaning, as these are not suitable for your pool and will significantly reduce the effectiveness of the pool care products. Only use special tools and aids for cleaning pools and pool liners to avoid damaging them.
