Robust wide mouth skimmer set for steel wall and styrofoam pools.
The set is chlorine and salt water resistant and has a wide suction opening for better surface suction.
Set consists of: 1x skimmer set S1, 1x wide mouth extension set, 1x gate valve, 4x hose clamp, 7x Ø 38 mm swimming pool hose in 150 cm sections, 1x Teflon threaded tape.

The skimmer net prevents larger impurities (leaves, hair, etc.) from getting into the pre-filter or supports sand filters that have a pump without a pre-filter; this prevents the water wheel from getting stuck in the pump.
This is normal behavior. Compared to other alternatives, the Intex skimmer does not have a lock to prevent it from floating up. To counteract this, weigh down the strainer basket or remove these parts from the skimmer housing during bathing.
