Say goodbye to conventional filter media - Filter Wool Flakes offers an environmentally friendly solution. 0.7 kg of Filter Wool Flakes is equivalent to the capacity of 25 kg of filter sand. In contrast to filter balls, this natural alternative completely dispenses with plastics. With a filter fineness of 1 μm and a dirt holding capacity of an impressive 500% of its own weight, the Filter Wool Flakes guarantee first-class filter results. They are extremely easy to use and are also suitable for saltwater pools.
Hand washing is recommended for maintenance. The Filter Wool Flakes are not suitable for tumble drying or backwashing. Filter Wool Flakes are not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying. Although they are made of wool, they are not a textile. Their special structure is decisive for their filter performance. Contact with detergents - whether heavy-duty or mild detergent - changes this structure and impairs filtration. Instead, the Filter Wool Flakes should be rinsed by hand with clear, cold water. The use of detergents is expressly not recommended.
Depending on the degree of soiling, Filter Wool Flakes should be cleaned with the garden hose approx. every 3-6 month and dried in the sun.
No. The intended use of Filter Wool Flakes is that the product is used as a filter medium in the pool area, where it will inevitably come into contact with water care products. After this contact, Filter Wool Flakes must not be composted or disposed of in the organic waste bin.
